Some places on planet Earth are more playful than others. Pause right now and think of three such places you’ve visited. Do these locations have something in common? Is there actually something to these destinations or is the playful part something you’ve taken from them? In August we continue our focus on playing, but with an emphasis on where we play—and why these places inspire the FUN in us!

Hue & Me
Mix that kick-off-your-shoes end of day feeling with music that might just get you back up off the couch and you have our August Hue & Me. Sock Hop is a combination of three playful colors set against black and the resulting spunk is irresistibly FUN.
IF you’re paying attention, these colors also show up in silhouettes set against the drawn out sunsets of summer.
This month, try not only using these colors, but using them in this suggested proportion—mostly black with pops of perky!

In the Northern hemisphere, days are getting shorter, but down under they are lengthening their stride. Regardless of where you reside, it’s time to venture out with your camera and look for color and design inspiration in nature. Your mission, should you choose to accept it is a shift in perspective to capture beauty in a NEW way.

I’m inviting YOU to plan a day trip, afternoon, evening or lunch hour excursion to a playful place, where you can pause and connect—where you can make memories and take photos.
