November 2025
Where are we headed?
The theme of a story (or in our case a page or project) is the ultimate message—the destination. Please don’t let less vital details or side stories get in the way of where you truly want to go. Stay on the path set by your theme. This way, you can enjoy the creative journey and still document your most important stories!

The Wizard of Oz—in all its iterations—is one of the most beloved stories of all time, and a perfect blend of fantasy, reality and good vs. evil. Themes include friendship, courage, the idea that you already have what you need to succeed and of course, a love of home.
Our colors this month reflect these themes. Green represents the promise of growth and new life. The yellow-brick road of course leading to the idealistic destination, but that also mapping out the journey which allows Dorothy to realize that she in fact prefers her rather mundane, but cozy life in Kansas. Yes, there will be storms, but she’ll take that chance—she wants to be there, living and working with those she loves.
🧡 Six Stories in Six Words 🧡
At the end of July, in our Story Coaching session I committed YOU to telling SIX additional stories—each with a SIX word summary—before the end of this year. You can download a FUN story tracker for this effort HERE. As you complete these pages, post them to Facebook to be entered into a monthly ‘Happy Mail’ drawing in November and December.

Story Process Video
My StoryDeck cards this month invited me to create a 2-page, 12x12 layout with the category of THINGS and starting with WORDS. I had to say it with a LIST and the Go Wild card called for a MIX of photos.
If you need a StoryDeck, it’s HERE.
p.s. If you’re looking for a great color to use with our Hue & Me, try purple!
