Welcome to Live Your Story for December, 2024—our focus this month is creating with things and you do not need me to tell you all the things that need creating in your world. As you well know, it’s the most wonderful time of the year and YOU are likely that most wonderful person filled to the brim with unrealistic expectations for creating all the things! This community gets you, supports you and champions all that you choose to do—or not do—this season. Let’s go!

What happens when you start with a traditional red and green Christmas combo AND then add in their tints and some white? A very Light Hearted approach to the holidays.
As a creator it is your prerogative to adjust colors and combinations to better serve your pages and projects—just as it is your opportunity to adjust a personal outlook to inspire or improve a personal interaction or larger collective experience—we are always more powerful than we think!

Mary Dillwyn was experimenting with the NEW Victorian novelty of photography in 1853 when she captured the first image of a snowman. You can read about that here.
Bob Eckstein wrote the book, History of the Snowman, but his account is, in my estimation less important than YOUR history of the snowman. Do you live in an area of the world where you can build in the snow? Do you remember an early build? Where were you and who were you with? You might search “snowman” in your camera roll while you consider this important question: Which—in your perspective—is the most famous snowman? AND finally … are there essentials that must be included in the building process to complete a snowman “correctly”?

Our Photo Freedom review this month is focused on six Extras and their digital equivalents, so that you can revisit how you want to use these tools—or if you do! Read the lesson and handout here.
Story Process Video
This one is FUN. I drew CTMH StoryDeck cards for Food, Numbers, Pocket Cards & Layers—somewhere along the way I decided I wanted to create a recipe video with a family history twist—to add via QR code to my single 12x12 page. Watch this process unfold above and then when you’re ready, watch my final, How to Make Birchermuesli video here.

In 2025, we are introducing 2nd Saturday—an additional time to gather each month for support, accountability and community creating.
We’re kicking off project plans on Saturday, January 4th at Noon PT, then one week later on January 11th, we’ll enjoy our first 2nd Saturday, from 10AM to 2PM.
