Let’s take a break shall we?

I’m so amazed at the progress we are making in this course and I’m so proud of all your efforts! It wasn’t until last weekend that I remembered that I usually schedule one or two weeks off during a Photo Freedom course—and I didn’t do that this time, so surprise! You get a BONUS spring break! There are two reasons this is the perfect time to pause …

  1. Workflow: Taking time to truly explore and establish a personal workflow is the most important thing you can do to move forward. Trust me, your workflow will change and will need to change, but you know enough (right now) to outline the steps you want to take—from camera to creative storytelling—to begin practicing and putting them to the test.

  2. What’s Next: What’s behind us are the lessons on photos and photo management. What lies ahead is the very fun work of physical set up of your Library of Memories system and the design of areas in your home where you will live and interact with photos and stories.

Another reason I’m excited for our spring break is because of the BONUS class I’m sharing with you below. You may or may not have heard of Collectionaire.com. Either way I really want you to learn more. I’m very careful when it comes to recommending specific products and services, but I can whole heartedly and enthusiastically recommend Collectionaire to you as a wonderful solution for indexing and sharing memories stored in the digital media you’ve been working so hard to curate. I was fortunate to be able to “sit down” over Zoom with Stanley Kinsey the founder and CEO of Collectionaire and record this class especially for YOU.

In this almost 50-minute video, Stan walks us through the process of setting up a Collectionaire account, building a basic family tree and then adding collections to it using share links. Be sure to use the chapter markers in the video to locate and/or review information that you are most interested in.

The really good news is that Stan has offered ALL of you a chance to SAVE 50% on a 2-year subscription, by using the promo code EET2021 (super generous!)

Almost everything will work again if you unplug it for a few minutes ... including you.

❤️ Our coaches are at it again: Going above and beyond to help YOU (and me) out.

Melissa has created a very helpful checklist that summarizes the tasks that I have assigned in the first seven weeks. I’m adding it below so you can easily open and print it—in either color or grayscale.

And, one final BONUS 🍀 I’m sharing here the process video I created for students in my Story52 class. WHY? Because in it, I show you how I am able to easily find photos to use in my scrapbooking to tell stories. As you watch, see if you recognize things we’ve talked about and are working on in this course!

Remember: We still have our LIVE session this week on Wednesday, March 10 at 4:00PM Pacific. If you have questions you’d like me to discuss there, email me stacy@stacyjulian.com and put LIVE question in the subject line. Click HERE to print my recipe!

➡️ THINGS are starting to come together.

Regardless of what you choose to work on—or not work on—this week, please remember that you are exactly where you need to be. We have ALL year together and I’m so glad you’re here!
