June 2025
Setting the Story …
We’re learning that a strong setting grounds a reader in a story, giving her context and the imagery she needs to visualize the characters and the plot. But, where do YOU go to read this time of year? Where is your favorite place to find yourself in a book? In June, let’s consider how the setting matters for both the book and the reader!

Orange and teal are a sunny shift on the color wheel from a Christmas red and green. Complimentary, brimming with FUN and festive and representative of the contrast between the hot and cools of summer.
How can you NOT want to play—or paint—with Juice & a Jig on cards or pages or rocks in your yard? Where will you find this happy pair when you’re out in nature or about your town?
🧡 Be sure to share what you find and create! Remember, you can download a folder with the full set of 2025 color swatches HERE!
Sketch This

Sketch This has replaced Design Inspired. You can look forward to a printable card and sketch each month and I’ll share a few ideas for how to adapt the sketch or borrow from it.
You’re invited in June to print an enlarged photo of a beautiful setting and bring it to our Do It Together session. We’re using and adapting this sketch to document a place we’ve photographed and want to remember.
Working On Video
Working On has replaced Love Your Library for the rest of the 2025. This new series is simply me involving you as I ‘work on’ a variety of memory-related efforts. In May I traveled to Europe. I’m sharing my photo-taking plans, my follow-thru and some tips for ongoing workflow!
Story Process Video
I’m creating a 12x12 story with a 6x12 flap about my favorite Star Wars nerd!
REMEMBER 💛 In 2025, you're invited to join me each month in creating a Story Process page! Everyone who posts a finished page to our Live Your Story Facebook group, will be entered in a drawing to receive Happy Mail from me!
If you need a StoryDeck, it’s HERE.
June boasts Father’s Day, World Music Day and Movie Night. Could you make a list of movies and music that remind you of your dad?
When you watch Story Process this month, you’ll hear about a movie-inspired phone call I had with my Dad. After we talked I couldn’t stop smiling. I was truly so glad I connected for that conversation.
We know that happy people focus on relationships and they intentionally express gratitude. I challenge you this month to connect with a father in your life—celebrate and document why he’s important to you!
I am always eager to hear your comments and questions. 💛 Feel free to reach out anytime! stacy@stacyjulian.com
Did YOU know? Members of Live Your Story now have EASY access to past courses, like 20in20 and Photo Freedom.
When you login, look for these on the list of options!
