ONE. Poppi

So, my kids, Clark & Lauren turned me onto this one and it took me all of two days to decide I needed to subscribe on Amazon. Two weeks later, I upped the frequency of my Poppi shipments—I’m blaming this on my hubs—he too is now a fan. As I write this we are out again and awaiting our “next Tuesday” replenishment.

My FAVORITE flavors are Raspberry Rose and Ginger Lime, but all are yummy!

My FAVORITE flavors are Raspberry Rose and Ginger Lime, but all are yummy!

Poppi is essentially water, fruit juice and apple cider vinegar (the really good, prebiotic kind) it’s delicious, not too fizzy (I don’t like too fizzy) and so good for my gut. 💖 Plus, hello, the branding is FUN and colorful.

When we have some, I pour me a tall glass in the afternoon. I add big chunky ice and drink it with a glass straw. It feels indulgent and it’s part of my rest + ramp up (without caffeine) for my evening routine.

Let me know if you’ve tried Poppi already OR if you decide to try it!

TWO. Coogies

Think COOKIES with a “G” and think “Oh my delicious!”
I’m very close to going on the record with a “BEST EVER” not only gluten-free, but grain-free baking mixes. I’ve been doing this gluten-free thing for a long time now and since my hubs is (believe it or not) allergic to rice (who’s allergic to rice?) most of the GF baking mixes don’t work for us (wheat flour is most often replaced with rice flour). But these are tapioca, coconut and flaxseed flour—PLUS—each mix has hidden veggies—🥕🍠🍆— like butternut squash!

I’m sincerely not sure how it all works, but it does and its super YUMMY. So, if like the Julians you’ve got some unique dietary restrictions, give these a try and let me know what you think!

THREE. Uin Footwear

This is sponsored recommendation. It’s been about 3 weeks since I received a pair of Uin Secret Garden shoes in the mail—I was asked to post to Instagram in my feed and my story (which I did). I was not asked to blog about these shoes, but I’m going to because I genuinely LOVE them. A. Their colorful B. Their super comfy and C. They pop-on and slip-off easily. Perfect for summer. I wouldn’t recommend them for long walks or hours sightseeing, simply because there isn’t a ton of support, but for everything else they’re adorable and so FUN. It’s possible that I may have planned a few outfits just so I can wear my Uins again.

Each style is inspired by some kind of theme. There are National themes (think Greece, Africa, Egypt or Mexico), all kinds of Joyful themes (like Rainbows, Animals, Smiles, Caring for our Planet and Peace & Love) and their are Art themes (Modern, Graffiti and Abstract). My Secret Garden shoes are inspired by (you guessed it) gardens and flowers. The product description says, “Nothing quite lifts the spirits like seeing flowers in bloom or the smell of rain-dampened earth after days of baking hot sunshine.”

How could I possible resist?

FOUR. Roasted Coconut Butter

There is a theme emerging here: Get yourself some cute shoes and EAT healthier snacks. Three ingredients. That’s all. Ready? Coconut butter. Coconut sugar. Himalayan Sea Salt.

Trust me when I say, a spoonful of his and a crave-killing wave of satisfaction washes over you! Try it.
And yes, it’s worth the $9.99 price tag. Roasted Coconut Butter from Eating Evolved is DELICIOUS.

Just so you know: When it arrives, it may have small white specks on the surface—this is just some of the coconut butter that has separated. Put the whole jar in the microwave for 15-30 seconds, but be careful—too long and you’ll have runny roasted coconut butter (it’s still delicious), but if you keep it in your cupboard, it should have the consistency of thick peanut butter, but it will be a LOT better for you!

FIVE. Honey Mamas

I discovered this via an Instagram and honestly I think it’s changed how I feel about Instagram ads, ha! I saw the add and even succumbed to purchasing my first box through the app. Then I had serious buyer’s remorse—until these arrived.

OH MY INDULGENT & DELICIOUS and still HEALTHY treat.

I cannot say enough good and I totally want to do a podcast interview with Chisty Goldsby, the creator of Honey Mama’s to hear her story and thank her in person!
