I went to the grocery story this week—without a mask! I happily smiled at people and greeted the checker with much enthusiasm. While this Covid-19 is not over, we are emerging (slowly) from restrictions we’ve become very accustomed to over the last 15 months.

I wonder in 50 years what school children will be taught about this global pandemic. What’s more important and interesting on personal level is what our children or grandchildren will know of what we have experienced in 2020 and 2021?

I want to HELP YOU document some of the pictures you’ve taken and the things you’ve personally experienced. For this reason, I partnered with Close To My Heart to create and record a 1-hour class and you can take it for FREE—it’s on the Close To My Heart YouTube channel—and you can watch it right HERE 💚

This class is for anyone and everyone—no previous scrapbook experience necessary. I will share specific ideas of how to present photos and how to design multiple layers of story, but I will also show you the kinds of pictures and memorabilia that you might want to save.

AND … it’s NOT too late to take photos, gather memorabilia or Google images to print. The photos and memorabilia are actually not the most important part of your documenting—what’s essential is your words, your experiences written down, your thoughts and feelings that make up your perspective. The Covid-19 pandemic was a collective experience, but no other human on this planet experienced it the way you did.

To help you unpack some of your specific memories, I’ve created some questions—in the form of a printable PDF—that you can answer. The act of simply thinking about and answering questions of ourselves is one of the best ways I know to get inside our brains and discover what it is that we want to record and remember!
