I'm Stacy. I really like telling stories and I really like taking pictures. When I use my pictures to tell stories, in my scrapbooks or here on my blog or via Instagram, I especially delight in connecting people, places, things and generations. In other words, my documenting is less about timelines and more about crossroads.
I’ve worked in the scrapbooking industry for over twenty years. I’ve written some books and I was the founding editor of Simple Scrapbooks magazine. I started this company in 2005 and sold it to this company in 2014. I love to teach. Sometimes I get to teach person, but mostly I teach online. I am now this old and this feels like a pretty big deal to me. I’ve decided to celebrate this milestone with a fresh start. FRESH is my word in 2015 and I am making it visible in lots of different ways.
If you've been here before, then you can see that I'm in the process of refreshing things. I'm restoring posts from former blogs and recycling efforts that bring me purpose and joy. I'm looking forward to interacting with you as I navigate this new season of my life.
Thanks for stopping by.
p.s. The best thing I've ever done is grow a family. I've been married to Geoff Julian for 25 years. Together we have five children—four biological sons and one adopted Korean princess. I'll write about them often.
