September 2022

I love 🍏 September!

My sister left me a Marco Polo message on August 31st and queried, “Do you think there’s a location on earth where September isn’t wonderful? Because I just want to believe that everyone loves September!”

I do sincerely LOVE September.
This is because it doesn’t matter how long it’s been since you were in school, September just feels like a FRESH start—summer is slipping away and soup and muffins are on the horizon. It’s a tad early to think about holidays and so you get a whole month to decide what about your life and routine you want to change. Perhaps you’ll decide to sleep a little longer, clean out that closet, write letters, sip tea, read a novel, bake, hike or tidy.

I’m just glad we are doing September together and I’d love to hear your plans and thoughts.

Hue & Me

Red Violet does seem to be a diva among colors. She sits comfortably between her warm and cool friends, brings together the passion of red and the mystery of violet with equal parts celebration and relaxation—she is exotic, but still witty and charming. At a party, RV is the guest you simply cannot leave out—it won’t be the same without her!

Our Hue & Me for September is understandably associated with beauty and fashion, but also represents the excitement of big tech and global connection!

Design Inspired

At least once this month, let the paper trimmer collect dust and reach for your scissors, so you can play and have FUN with imperfectly perfect shape, inspired by Lynn Giunta

Love Your Library

Curious & Creative

What’s a story board? Have you ever created one? This month I’m inviting you to capture an event or experience with a well-imagined video!

Podcast

This month I want to be present with YOUR IDEAS 💡 Use the button above to record your voice and tell me about an idea—from your past, one you’re working on right now or something you’d like to make happen in your future.

🧡 Do this by September 15th and then check back on September 29th to listen to YOUR IDEAS!

Red onions originated in Tropea, Italy. They are a more mild onion and sweeter than the more common, white or yellow onions. This is why they are often added to dishes that you don’t cook. They are healthier too—more antioxidants! But, this month we love them because they boast an absolutely beautiful “red-violet” diva glam.

Think of Live Your Story as a beautiful red onion chopped in a fresh salad. Just a little goes a long way and adds so much flavor to your experience.

Let’s peel back the layers of September!
