How to SpeakPipe Me 🧡

I absolutely LOVE getting questions, comments and feedback for my podcast—via SpeakPipe, which is a service that allows blog readers and podcast listeners to record a voice message and have it sent to the host.

To make sure that you’re NOT sending me a message because you don’t know how, I’m writing these instructions. You’re welcome!

When visiting my blog or podcast page from a laptop or desktop computer, click through to an individual blog post or podcast episode and then look for the Show Notes on the sidebar—scroll down just a bit, until you see the bright orange “start recording” button. Click on it and a small window will open up and ask you if your microphone is ready—you don’t have to do anything here because your computer’s microphone is generally on and ready to go! Click again on the orange button and you’ll be able to record a voice message.

Below is a short video that shows you where to find the SpeakPipe button when viewing my podcast page on an iPhone. The process of sending the message is the same once you’ve located the widget!

Please don’t worry about getting your message just right, because you can record it over again if you don’t like it, and SpeakPipe only sends me the audio clip once you hit the send button. You’ll have to share your name and email address first—see image—and then once you hit send, I get an email from you with a link to your recording. I can download it and then easily share it on my podcast—or here on my blog.

AND, the really cool thing is if I share your SpeakPipe in an episode, then I send you a Story Starter kit from my Story by Stacy line with Close to My Heart.

Here’s an example of a SpeakPipe message I received yesterday from Liz, who was one of my guests on episode 62. I’ll be sharing more messages like this on my blog just because I think it’s so FUN to hear from you and share your beautiful voices, ideas and thoughts!

JUST FOR FUN, let’s do a little giveaway of a Stories I LOVE kit. You probably know what you need to do to make yourself eligible 😀 SEND me a SpeakPipe and then leave a comment below. This opportunity will be available for the rest of April, so you have plenty of time.

🧡 I can’t wait to hear from YOU!
