My "Mighty" Mini for Valentine's Day

Just for FUN, here's a short video overview of the Valentine mini-book that I created for a class at Big Picture Classes last February. I just pulled it out with a few items of decor yesterday and it makes me super HAPPY.

To create a connected story like this one, I generally start with an "older" photo—not necessarily a vintage photo, but a photo that depicts something from an earlier time period that you still do/observe today.

I'm still a HUGE fan of mini books because I pack them away and bring them out on special occasions. This way they feel new each time they come out and there is a reason to look at them. This, plus I just like making these connections across time and then documenting them in creative ways.
