I’ve seen memes and T-shirts and Pinterest boards dedicated to the idea of embracing imperfection, but in today’s episode I want to take you one step further and invite you to practice imperfection. Yes, there is a difference. This is not just permission to make mistakes, but intentionally aiming a little lower in the first place, so that we can do what we need to do and move forward with a healthier and more realistic expectation for growth and improvement over time.

If you’re a scrapbooker, here’s evidence that I do in fact practice imperfection—I’m forever cutting a little bit of cardstock out to cover up a mistake.
