Extended Story Class: Covid-19
One of my newest and most favorite storytelling concepts is Extended Story—essentially layers of memory protectors stacked on top of a base, 12x12 foundation layout. You can use any combination of protectors in a variety of sizes and include pocket pages. For me, these stories are an opportunity to add more—photos and details and connections—to a story and they feel super interactive once they’re placed in an album.
I introduced this concept with supportive products in the Storyteller How-to book that I wrote with Close To My Heart (CTMH).
I’ve recently filmed a YouTube class at CTMH headquarters which will be published on YouTube in May 2021. The purpose of this class is to encourage anyone and everyone to document what life has been like during this global pandemic.
Once this video class is available, I think it would be FUN to gather as a Photo Freedom community to work on this project together. If this is something you want to do, you’ll want to watch my April webinar and then download the two sets of questions that I showed you during the webinar (linked below). You might also want to look into purchasing product that will support you.

My Covid-19 Extended Story consists of a 2-sided 12x12 page, an 8.5 x 11 Flip Flap (could also be an 8.5 x 11 protector), a 6x4 pocket page, a 4x3 pocket page, a 6x6 page and an 8.5 x 11 page—all stacked up!

If you know you have memorabilia (newspapers clippings, etc.) that you want to include, you may want to purchase some Flip Flaps. I used one 8.5 x 11 Flip Flap to hold a section of newspaper and a few other smaller sizes. Learn more here!
