Welcome!
I’m so delighted YOU chose to join me on this journey of living life with stories in mind. We are headed into our 4th year and we’ve become an incredible community of curiosity, creativity and connection. As individuals we are becoming more playful, more productive and more present even with the twists and turns that make life a crazy and wonderful ride.
I’m excited to know you better and to be able help you navigate this ever evolving world of photos, memories and stories where the blessing of technology sometimes feels like a curse.
🧡 You’re in the right place.
Calendar
Think of our monthly calendar like a map. The calendar notes fun prompts and product or tool to play with. Of course, you’ll want to add the dates—and times in your time zone—for five live sessions AND our 2nd Saturday work party to your personal schedule.
I hope you’ll print a copy of the calendar each month and post it in a prominent place. It is designed to be a FUN reminder to celebrate color and everyday life.
Monthly Videos
Each month you’ll enjoy two new videos:
Love Your Library videos are designed to help you learn and apply principles of Photo Freedom to a healthy digital and physical workflow. Each video reviews the essentials and extras that make up a Library of Memories system and each video includes specific assignments to work on at your own pace and in your own way. Starting in April, the topic each month follows the weekly content found in the Photo Freedom course that you have access to, where April is Week/Lesson 1, May is Week/Lesson 2, and so on …
Story Process videos are so FUN. This is me—in real time—crafting a scrapbook story. I deal myself four Story Deck cards and then share how each challenge guides my ideation and decisions—as steps in my creative process. When you see a finished page and wonder, “How did she come up with that?” Now you’ll know!
FYI: You can purchase your own StoryDeck in my online shop
New Month
Meet-Up
We kick off each new month with a live session on YouTube, called the New Month Meet-up. I schedule this live session on the 1st, 2nd or 3rd of each month. This is our BIG monthly check in where we interact around seasonal efforts and silly holidays. I review our new calendar and content and talk through specific plans—so you can ask questions about the details and get answers in real time.
Plan on 45 to 60 minutes! This live monthly session is immediately available for replay.
NOTE: You will receive an email on the first day of each month inviting you to log into your account. I will share the link to our live New Month Meet-Up session and remind you of our color of the month. You are always invited wear or bring something in this color—this is a great reminder and reason to snap a monthly photo of YOU!
WWW
Our community stretches across time zones, so the session formerly known as Wednesday Workflow is now WWW—short for the Wonderful World of Workflow! This is a live, once-a-month midweek session all about the things we do to stay on top of our ever-growing digital libraries. I will share what I am currently working on in terms of managing both images and physical prints, memorabilia and/or project planning. Together we will routinely revisit and review specific tasks associated with the principles of planning, purging, prioritizing, categorizing and sharing.
Plan on 30 to 45 minutes. This monthly session will be recorded and posted for later viewing.
NOTE: You will receive an email with a link and details about our planned topic.
Do It Together
This live session is our scheduled time to work in the same virtual space on individual adaptations sparked by our monthly writing prompt. I’ll often invite you to follow a simple sketch or prepare/print specific photos, but mostly we’ll gather for FUN and accountability to craft a story in your chosen format. You are always encouraged to share what you create during the session and in our private Facebook group.
Plan on 90 minutes to 2 hours. This monthly session will be recorded and posted for replay.
NOTE: You will receive a reminder email with link and details about our planned activity.
Project Play Date
In 2025, Project Play Date will help us start and finish a FUN visual connect game and 4 additional projects. You’ll want to visit the seasonal page (look for Winter, Spring, Summer or Fall in the drop-down menu when you log in) for an overview and printable schedule of ALL projecting times—including our NEW 2nd Saturday session that features break-out rooms for Finishing, Family History Stories, Writing and New Projects. You’ll be able to visit whichever room you need each month.
Story Coaching
This live session is about sharing personal experiences, expertise and insights around specific documenting-related questions asked by YOU or proposed by me. If you have a topic you’d like us to discuss or a question you would like me to address, you can send me an email anytime: stacy@stacyjulian.com put Story Coaching in the subject line.
Plan on 45 to 60 minutes. This monthly session is recorded and posted for replay.
Stacy’s Podcast
I’m not currently creating new podcast episodes, but listening to Exactly Enough Time podcast will definitely give you more of what I believe and teach with LOTS of inspiration, ideas and personal stories.
Design Inspired
This monthly image can be printed as a 4x6 photo. It is an invitation to learn more about an artisan, illustrator, topic or specific creative process. In 2025 Design Inspired will feature a specific product, tool or technique to try, improve or use in new and different ways!
Hue & Me
Our color—or—color combination of the month. Just like people, sometimes color needs alone time, but mostly it loves company. This is why in 2025, we’ll be exploring and creating color in isolation and combination. Look for the link on each monthly page, where you can print a full set of Hue & Me colors for the current year!
This or That
Printed on our monthly calendar, you’ll find three “This or That” choices as an invitation to think about your personal preferences, past experiences and potential stories. Circle one option for each set and search your memory and your digital library to SEE what surfaces for you!
Two Good
How do you eat an elephant? One—or two—bites at a time. Staying in the game of photo management and personal storytelling requires ongoing small efforts and that is the opportunity you are given on each monthly calendar. Two small tasks that over time make a BIG difference.
Writing Prompt
In 2025 with our emphasis on stories, the former Page Prompt is now a writing promp to help you in finding words and crafting sentences that describe and develop character, setting, plot/conflict and theme in your personal documenting efforts.
Rote the Quote
This image and quote can be printed as a 4x6 photo. Post it where you will see it often. This is our chance to memorize and internalize powerful words and ideas—we recite these quotes together at the beginning of each live session.
Let’s Read a Book
Every three months (or season) you are invited to read (or listen to) a particular book and/or watch a specific documentary or other media, that we can discuss during our live sessions and in our Facebook group. Media is chosen to inspire strong elements and qualities of storytelling. Community Coordinators, Cynthia Broadbent and Kim Willems are our bookclub guides, always dreaming up ideas and activities inspired by our reading!
Let’s Make a Project
Be sure to print your 2025 Project Overview and Schedule available on the seasonal page and then come to Project Play Date session to make progress on the projects you have planned.
On the 15th of every month, I’ll send you a just-because email message—often with a video. This is my mid-month way of checking in with ideas and encouragement!

RECAP Emails
Following each of our live sessions, Anna compiles an easy-to-read review of what happened, so you can know if you’ll find the replay video useful.
