Welcome …

To my little corner of the web. We are everyday swimming in a sea of information, bombarded by messages and marketing and it’s sometimes difficult to know if an online instructor or a class will be a good fit—if it will meet your expectations and your needs. For this reason, I’m sharing some of the work I’ve done to create my personal brand.

💛 I value transparency, so I want YOU to know the ideas that I believe in and return to as I create content and community in the memory keeping and family history space.

First, my ethos—which is simply the characteristic spirit of a culture or community. The community that gathers at stacyjulian.com is defined by what I believe about personal expression, and how I work to present it, so …

Personal expression should be accessible—anyone can tell their story and everyone should feel welcome and celebrated for efforts made, however inconsistent.

For me, personal expression is always inspiring because it’s so much more about the process and the person than it is about what is ultimately created.

Personal expression is imperfect and beautifully so. I practice imperfection and encourage and celebrate it here.

Personal expression is as colorful as it is diverse. I personally adore bright, happy colors, but like with people, I welcome any and all—and I believe that colors look better in combination with other colors!

Personal expression must be FUN if you intend to enjoy it and stay with it. I do everything I can to make experiences here really, really, really FUN.

Is this a community you would ENJOY?

While my customers and students come from all over the world and many different backgrounds, they generally have a few things in common. You might relate to the type of woman who gathers here …

  • She loves freezing time with her camera—or smart phone. She takes pictures and loves to share them.

  • She loves life (most of the time) and eagerly pursues interests and hobbies. She values her physical and emotional health.

  • She loves her family and friends. Relationships are the most important thing in her life.

  • She loves to learn and try new things. She is particularly fond of hands-on creativity and the chance to step away from technology.

  • She loves feeling organized and productive and though she struggles with both, she never gives up!

She sees her life as her story.
❤️
While she doesn’t always know the way forward, she knows she wants to document some of the details for her and for her loved ones.

She is prone to both overwhelm and guilt,
but she is also learning to master thoughts
that don’t serve her, in exchange
for perfectly imperfect results
that she is truly proud of.

AND
She knows that she has
exactly enough time for the
most important things in her life.

I make scads of mistakes, but I will try very hard to see you, hear you and help you feel a part of this community 🧡
