Wonderful World of Workflow

It’s that busy, full and fantastic time of year! Cannot believe that Christmas is already here! For our WWW Session last Wednesday, Stacy helped us take some time to check in with our digital libraries to review and populate Monthly Markers.

We started by searching 2023 in our digital libraries, and then filtering the search to only include our favorited photos. When doing this, Stacy shared that she prefers to have her favorite:all ration to be right around 20% in her digital library. This helps create a manageable snapshot of the photos she would like to work with at a later date for various projects and layouts.

She gave a quick refresher on Monthly Markers and then gave us the opportunity to spend 10 minutes in our libraries doing some workflow. It was a great opportunity to find any spots in our library that may still need a little attention.

By revisiting this process from time to time our perspective can change and we can sometimes find that what was a β€˜favorite’ photo six months ago is not something you still want to keep in the forefront going forward - a forever fluid process with the memories and stories we want to share.
