Making Progress on Project24

Whether you’re current our catching up with your tasks for your Project24 we had a productive time together on Saturday working on this fun yearlong project.

Even if you’re not doing P24 anyone can join our monthly play date to work on whatever is helpful and fun to YOU!

Stacy spent the morning catching up on her layouts and sharing with us her P24 layouts and demonstrated her process for her April pages.

Gwendalyn Selfridge shared that she worked on some graduation cards for some upcoming graduates in her life. She also asked for some long lasting adhesive suggestions. Stacy and a few others recommended a dot liner and this is the one that Stacy specifically uses.

Christy Browning shared her Project24 progress and shared that she is enjoying this current format which allows her to focus on a couple highlights from each month instead of trying to scrap every single thing that happens throughout the year. We loved learning about all the unique animals she has on her ranch!

Karen Nader shared the layout she completed about the time she and her husband went Namibia and visited the Cape Cross Seal Reserve.

Lynsee Bjork shared the HOME layouts she was finishing up from our LYS Birthday Bonus Bash.

Heathly McClatchey shared a layout of her birthday she was working on and that she was setting up new Aura digital frame for her mother.

A Note from Stacy

I planted flowers over the weekend. When I was at the Fred Meyer nursery, Addie asked to use my iPhone and she wandered off.

Later I found a dozen or more NEW photos in my camera roll—and I was so impressed! She had taken some really good pictures, with portrait mode even!

Two thoughts came to my mind …

1. Addie has seen me take photos—LOTS of photos—so it makes sense that she would, in the presence of gorgeous flowers want to capture them.
   

2. My children will capture, honor and pass-on photos and stories differently than I do. I love that I have chosen to do some documenting about them, but I’m not obligated to do so. My job is to tell my stories AND to show them through my actions that noticing life and being grateful for beauty, experiences and other people is a powerful thing to do. More than telling their stories, my job is to inspire storytelling in them!!

I hope on days when you feel overwhelmed by ALL you perceive there is to do, that you will remember this. You may pass on some scrapbooks, but more importantly you’re passing on a LOVE for storytelling.
