Today, I’m celebrating πŸ’› May Halfway Day! πŸ’› I’m also celebrating my cute husband’s birthday. This means that right after I send this email I will be outside prepping our garden box for planting and after that I’ll pick up Addie and then pick up a Jell-O Brand Cheesecake mix (his childhood favorite!)

Celebrations come in all shapes and sizes and recognize all kinds of occasionsβ€”SOβ€”in a way, my 15 on the 15th challenge this month is about YOU celebrating both the collections of printed photos you have and your role as decision maker in caring for some and letting others go.

I’ve spent the last 5 days working with my father-in-law on the Julian family history book he is writing, so I’m fresh off this exact task of sorting, caring for AND letting go …

This month spend at least 15 minutes with one of your collections of prints. This could be an old scrapbook album, an envelope or two of unsorted pictures, a box or drawer or Storage Binder where you will find printed photos. Revisit this collection and then decide what YOU will do. Perhaps you’ll scan a handful and bring them into your digital library. Maybe you’ll let a whole bunch go. You might even bring a few together on a scrapbook page so you can add words that will give them value and personal meaning.
