Wednesdays Story Coaching was chalk full of questions, comments, and great insights! This session focused on our pre-digital and inherited photographs that might sometimes feel like an immovable mountain of prints. Members discussed how they curate and share these pictures and Stacy gave us some pointers on making important mindset shifts.

⭐ Our photos are not the people in them! Don’t be afraid to thin out the stack.

⭐ We are the link! When photos have stories and names attached they mean all the more to those who inherit them. If the photo has a story or a name you know, thats a keeper.

⭐ Consider digitizing! The photos our newest generation stores are digital. When passing on our inherited photos, consider making them all the more accessible for the next generation.

If you struggle to let go of beautiful old prints after they are digitized, you are NOT alone.

Consider simply displaying them. Let your family members, children and grandchildren interact with them and ask questions.

You can also digitize and then USE these prints on your pages and in your projects. They are NOT relics to be stored, but photos to be enjoyed!
