During our December Do It Together Stacy completed this month’s Page Prompt to Draft and Document your 2023 Nice List. While she worked on her layout other members worked on individual December projects of Recipe Gift Books, December Daily Albums, and finishing up Christmas Cards.

Welcome new member Shanna Hystad who joined us from Bonnie Lake, WA!! We love new faces and are so glad to meet you! β™₯️

In preparation for this Page Prompt project, Stacy shared her process for gathering her β€œNice List.” The convenience of access to our digital libraries using our phones is so helpful when preparing for projects.

In Apple Photos, Stacy has created a folder of albums for pages and projects. Inside she was able to create a temporary album for her β€œNice List” and spent 15 minutes earlier in the week easily gathering NICE photosβ€”to represent key moments from 2023, which were also already curated as favorites in her digital library. πŸ™ŒπŸ» Thank you Rock Your Scroll!

Using Ali Edwards quarterly kit, Stacy did a colorful layout with the added detail of a 6x12” Close to My Heart flip-flap that included her VERY FIRST photo she took in 2023 and will also display her VERY LAST photo she takes this year. On the backside of the flap, Stacy typed up a written summary. Scroll down to the bottom of this email to read her journaling!

Every now again I like to pop in on the unfolding timeline of our lives to put a proverbial stake in the ground. An entire year is once again in rearview and once again it has been another wonderful trip around the sun with more growing experiences and blessings than we can tally.

I don’t yet know the final number of pictures I’ve taken and kept, but starting with that beauty shot of Trey, snapped on New Year’s Day, after a near fail on his mustache video, I’ve captured the ins and outs and ups and downs in the Julian clan. At this writing, I’ve left a blank spot for the last 2023 picture. And here, opposite are printed images of what I’m calling our Nice List.

As I planned December content for my Live Your Story membership, I thought a Nice Listβ€”just like Santa Claus keepsβ€”might be helpful for keeping track and telling the 2023 story.

Of course there are many more nice things that occurred than I can document here, but these few are particularly nice …

#1 Trey pledged his undying love for Anna Glenn on January 28th and she became an official member of the Julian family on April 29th.

#2 Sweet Hallie Kendall was blessed by her father on February 26th, Addie and I were thrilled to travel to Arizona for this occasion.

#3 Jon & Chanda Setter rocked the Hall reunion this year. We missed grandma terribly, but Grandpa Briggs (the oldest) and Hallie (the youngest) had a great time together!

#4 Snuggling sleeping granddaughters (enough said.)

#5 Addie turned 16 at the Hall reunion and we celebrated with friends on August 17th.

#6 We loved gathering with our Utah family for the Saturday evening session of October General Conference.

#7 Gary flew to Spokane multiple times to work with Stacy on the Julian book which is nearing completion!

#8 Chase moved home after a year at Disney World and got settled in his very own apartment in Sandy, UT. We are so proud of him!
