On Wednesday Stacy guided us through the start of our new travel album project. The goal with this project is for it to be under-planned. If you’re like me that’s a scary word 😬 I want to know the exact image, the exact dimensions, and have the perfect written story before I even think about glue. But our goal here is to find some creative liberation through Stacy’s Short Story process (which has been proven time and time again!) So, what are the guidelines for completing this project? Think small, under plan, and skip the journaling Stacy goes over the logistics of the album and then gives us a quick rundown on how to pick and organize your photos for this project. By the end of your prep the goal is to have 60 photos of people, places, and things that showcase your time in your chosen place. Then you can prep your kit. Here’s what to put in it! ⭐ A 12 x 12 “inspo” sheet of patterned paper that looks like or reminds you of your chosen location ⭐ Pick 4 or 5 more patterned sheets that match your inspiration sheet ⭐ 50-60 small embellishments (mostly black and white) Then at our next Project Play session we’ll get to the part where creativity takes over 😉 AND Stacy will be there to walk us through it!
