This workflow session we took a look at two helpful file types for capturing memories - audio and video. These are tools we might sometimes forget about in the process of taking, organizing, and using photos. In this session Stacy and the members in attendance reviewed a few ways that they use video and audio to enhance memory keeping. Stacy mentioned the word “texture” in this session and I think it encompasses the value of all three modes of capture - audio, video, and photo. These media types, especially when used intentionally, can transport your audience to your setting, help boost characterization, and add to your plot. They add texture!
