Workflow is simply the steps you consistently take to care for and curate your photos. How and when you purge, prioritize, categorize and share you photos is your workflow and the overall goal is for you to gain easy access and familiarity with digital and print images so that you can discover and preserve associated stories.

Photo Triage: Which photos need attention first?

This is a tough question because we have thousands and thousands of images, but as YOU intentionally put some of your photos in a new context, you will see them differently and discover the stories they hold—this is what triage is all about!

The technology we are blessed with today is amazingly great at facilitating so successful triage. From a simple search in your camera roll to albums you set up, keywords you tag images with and details you add to meta data (think caption field) you are in the driver’s seat and can truly manage and have FUN with photos. Of course utilizing cloud storage will allow your workflow efforts on and across multiple devices.

Story Triage: Nurturing baby stories!

Stacy is super excited about the potential we have to begin stories inside our digital library. New Story Markers can be used in albums set up for curating photos and other details in storytelling categories. For example, the photo of the pink elephant (and iconic sign in downtown Seattle, WA USA) sparked a story for Stacy, so she placed it into her new “Places” album, where she can now gather other photos, journaling ideas and even design inspiration.

By the time she prints these photos, she’ll know exactly how to proceed with this story!
