Note from Stacy: I decided to use decoupage to preserve the leaves on my page! Its shininess spilled over onto my cardstock, so I patched a bit of the blue. I love practicing this kind of imperfection!

A Note from πŸ’› Stacy

As I placed my finished pages on a poster board to photograph this morning, I was thinking WHY I love the monthly Page Prompt challenge so much. It is because no matter what else I’m focused on (photo book project, color class) or how busy I feel in my life, I know I can stop and make a page.

I didn’t have a solid idea for my page until Saturday morning, when I headed out on a walk. I stooped down to pick up a pretty leafβ€”like I often doβ€”and realized, β€œHey, wait a second … I am a nature super-fan!”

AND, here’s where it gets good: Because I have, inconsistently over the years, applied a TH_Nature keyword I was able to come home, take a shower and then pull up 178 photos to print at homeβ€”in time for our live session.

By engaging in workflow and accepting challenges YOU do have time to scrapbook. You do!
